CSS Review, Participation Action Plan & Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report
Core Strategy Review Launched
The Plan that sets out the framework for North Northamptonshire's future is now being reviewed, taking it forward to cover the period to 2026 and looking at the longer term vision to 2031 and beyond. Residents and businesses in the area are being asked for their comments on what subjects and issues a revised Core Strategy should include.
The NNJPU is seeking comments be made on the scope of this review via our Consultation Portal
The consultation period will end on 30th March 2009 and all comments will be taken into account when preparing the next stage, which will be consultation on Options, planned for September and October this year.
Participation Action Plan
The Participation Action Plan sets out the framework for preparation of the Core Spatial Strategy Review. It was approved by the Joint Planning Committee on January 29th 2009.
Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report
This SA scoping report represents the first stage in meeting the SEA requirements and informing the Sustainability Appraisals of future documents.
It has been prepared for consultation and it asks interested people and organisations whether the Sustainability Appraisal and objectives are correct. There are a number of questions asking whether consultees know of any other information that should be taken into account and whether there could be any improvements to the proposed framework for assessing this and future Development Plan Documents.
