The ‘Understanding Places’ Workshop was held on 23^rd-25^th September 2009 and brought together technical stakeholders and local councillors to share their experiences and knowledge of how places in North Northamptonshire have developed.  In a series of interactive sessions, delegates debated opportunities for places to change and improve, as well as the main challenges to delivery.  The Workshop proved a useful starting point for Core Strategy review and the outcomes will be used to guide the options development process over the first half of 2010.  A formal Options consultation is expected in October 2010.
